1) Chef/Manager on Cockatoo Island

An Exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Chef to run our small but busy Cockatoo Island Cafe on a full time basis.
 
Your duties will include but not be limited too
 
* Menu Preparation
* Food Ordering
* Stock Control
* Building & Rostering your team
* Maintenance and cleaning supervision
 
This is a hands on management role and you must have the ability to work in a team with a strong focus on
 
* Customer Service
* Food Handling
* General Hygiene
 
As this is a location that can be affected by the weather there are days that will require customer service and coffee making ability (training can be provided).
 
This is a full time position and day time only but will require at least one day on the weekend (or two if you prefer).
 
Salary will be in line with hours/days worked, level of experience and ability to take control of the day to day management of the cafe.

2) Barista on Cockatoo Island

The Toast Food Group is seeking a new barista and coffee roaster to join the team. You must be able to handle high volume coffee over short periods of time, ensuring that the standard of coffee and customer service is at the highest possible level.

3 or 4 days a week.

You must be passionate about coffee and food with a thirst for perfection. The successful applicant will need to have cash handling experience and the ability to work and act autonomously.

The Toast Food Group is seeking a kitchenhand. Located at North Ryde is full time - Monday to Friday day shifts only. This is a busy internal operation for a high profile client.

4) Cafe/Restaurant Manager/Supervisor at Mos Cafe

We are currently seeking an experienced full time Restaurant Manager/Supervisor.
 
You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the Restaurant reporting directly to the General Manager.
 
Ideally, you would have worked in a similar position for at least 2-3 years or have experience at a supervisory level. Your key area of responsibilities will be:
 
                Strong customer service focus
                Hands on operator
                Wine knowledge preferable but not essential
                Ability to priortise tasks
                A la carte skills
                Effective communicator
                Can-do attitude
                Basic computer skills
 
A great opportunity for some one who wants to learn all facets of restaurant management. We are looking for someone who is willing to be hands on, also have the ability to have a great relationship with the customers.
 
The successful candidate must have the following
 
- At least 2-3 years experience in Hospitality in a similar role.
- Must be available for a variety of shifts including weekend day-times.
- Must have excellent presentation
- Must have the ability to lead and motivate staff
- Must have a current RSA certificate

5) Waitstaff at Mos Cafe
The Museum of Sydney Cafe is an iconic cafe/bar/restaurant located in Sydney’s CBD. With a Modern Australian menu boasting the best in local and international cuisine, there is something to please everyone.
 
Currently we are recruiting experienced wait staff to join our fun and energetic team.
 
To be considered for this Full Time position, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
 
•Minimum 2 years experience as a food and beverage attendant in an 'a la carte' restaurant.
•Attention to detail in a high pressure fast paced environment environment.
•Fluent English and well groomed
•Lead by example while using your initiative.
•Available to work days, evenings and weekends on a rotating roster. (Mos Cafe is closed on Saturday and Sunday nights)
