Toast Food has grown from the vision of one person, Paul Lockrey. Paul’s family have been involved in food services for several generations. Paul started out in Cafes, progressed to Restaurants and finally opened MOS Café 16 years ago.
Demand from clients meant the establishment of a daily catering and events business. A few platters of sandwiches has turned into events for over 700 people and everything in between. Understanding, providing for and exceeding our clients expectations sit at the heart of everything that Toast Food does.
While it may have grown from one person’s vision, Toast Food brings together many many years of experience from a dedicated team of staff. Many of those staff have been with Toast for a number of years and will continue to expand their roles and grow with the company.
The Toast family expanded in 2009 with the addition of the onsite services at Foxtel HQ in North Ryde. This new division again arouse from a client who was not happy with the standard fare on offer in the market place so when they needed something special they choose Toast Food. Toast is willing to work with other partners to develop even more of these types of alliances.
In 2011 Toast Food was the successful tenderer for the Audley Weir dance hall and The Weir Café. This will give Toast an exciting new venue with seating capacity for over 200 people (and a further 150 in a wedding configuration). During 2011 Toast Food also added Belinda Franks Catering to its stable of caterers and won the site catering contract for News Limited across Sydney.
2012 has seen even more exciting times with Level Fourteen at The American Club and Boronia Tea Room in Mosman opening.
